INI BUKAN kisah petualangan Ernesto Guevara yang akrab dengan sebutan latah Che Guevara— dokter pejuang dari Argentina itu. Memang, judul di atas aku ambil dari judul film yang disutradarai Walter Salles berjudul “The Motorcycle Diaries” (2004) atau dalam bahasa Spanyol “Diarios de Motocicleta.” Film ini berkisah tentang petualangan Ernesto “Che” Guevara bersama karibnya Alberto Granado mengendarai sepeda motor dari Buenos Aires untuk melintasi daratan Amerika Latin pada 1952. Ernesto Guevara adalah mahasiswa umur 23 tahun penyuka olahraga rugby dan Granado seorang biochemist muda. Dalam perjalanan bersepeda motor itu, kedua anak muda tadi memotret berbagai realitas sosial di Amerika Latin.
